There seems to be a block NO for this in all the messages that I have
seen on this group.
Is there an plans to support AJAX driven sites?
By which I mean the ability to update an ad without postback.

no, ad can only be refreshed on page loads, any auto refresher is a
TOS violation.

...last I checked anyway...
