Hi David,

Your timing is superb. I have been working on the French cheat sheet
for a few weeks, and have a version 0.1 to get some feedback on. Does anyone have a basic cheat sheet template? I'm looking to do a vi
cheat sheet, but I can't be arsed grabbing the pngs and editing them
in photoshop etc. Does anyone have a PSD or html file that I can edit
and post back here? Of course if it's good enough then I hope you can
publish it on Added Bytes.

 David,

I think its in great shape for the initial "official" release
tomorrow. I like all of the changes in v2 - removing the one-time info
on repository layout makes sense with the "cheat sheet" approach, and
the Merge examples are great - makes me realize in this instance, it
is easier and less confusing to use the command-line approach than it

 David,

The first version of the Subversion cheat sheet looks great so far. My
only suggestion is to possibly add a section on Merging, which is
quite confusing, even thru the GUI interface of TortoiseSVN, as I
always seem to specify it backwards from what Subversion wants.

Thanks for your efforts - they are appreciated.

Thanks for your feedback, Levi. From the sound of it, I get the
impression that there might be better options out there.

Saw getbackboard.com the other day - looks like it might be a good
alternative. Would be perfect if it allowed you to give a public URL
to a board, but sadly you have to invite everyone individually,

 Hi,
I would say that it is better to put it into related cheatsheets sections
rather than cluttering up all the cheatsheets with redundant info. We can
then have space for more information on the topic.
Of course, for mod_rewrite, we don't have much info apart from regex and it
makes sense to keep regex there. For other topics which are not so strongly

I've also been looking at the regex section for the Python and other
programming cheat sheets, and it occurs to me that there is a great
deal of redundancy there. I use the PHP, mod_Rewrite and Regex cheat
sheets, and will be using Python. So I'll have a complete cheat sheet
for regex as well as three small regex syntax sections on the others.

I always like the list of functions most, reserved words and command
line options are not so interesting, because you rarely look up that.
And from the Exceptions only the most important ones, like IndexError,
KeyErrory, TypeError and ZeroDivision Error.
Maybe you should have a look at some important modules like os.

I'm interesting in getting your thoughts on
content for the content, especially if you have experience with

 Hi,

my opinion is, that there should be a Cheat Sheet Tool which makes it
easier to create Cheat Sheets for oneself. Best solution would be
something like a layouting tool that behaves similar to the
netvibes.com page.
