Dear All,

We have been invited for a return trip to Rudgate Brewery (as we were so well behaved last time!) and this has been arranged for Saturday 24 May.

The plan is to leave York (Memorial Gardens at Leeman Road) at 12pm to get to the brewery between 12.30 and 1.00. We will then have a guided tour around the brewery, enjoy a finger buffet and, more importantly, sup a few pints of quality real ale!

The brewery are charging us £5 a head and there will be a charge to cover the cost of the minibus to and from the brewery, but I have yet to obtain a quote for this. I'm sure I don't need to tell you that this is very good value. On our last visit in November 2006, we were provided with more food than we could eat and about 5 or 6 pints each - all for £5!!

Please could you let me know if you would like to come. As always, you are welcome to ask friends or relatives to come along too. This is one social, however, where there will only be real ale to drink, so it may not be the best trip for lager drinkers!
