Reddot CMS 7.1 SP2 Upgrade is out on the community site.... still to determine if these fixes have already been rolled in to the cms 7.5 version on the community site.

I just tried to do an upgrade from 7.1 sp2 build 7.1.2.6 to 7.5 build 7.5.0.27 and it went really bad (lucky it was in our dev environment :P).
Everything was going well until i restarted as requested by the reddot installer. Once i restarted and logged back in the installer attempted to update the ioadministration database and died a horrible death (unfortunately i didnt' get down the error message).
My recommendation is to hold off on a 7.1 sp2 upgrade if you're looking to move to the current version of 7.5 anytime soon.

Were you able to recover and resume normal operations? We are running 7.1.1.31 would you advise against upgrading to sp2? We are holding of 7.5 for now, I talked to Red Dot support they recommend SP2 as it fixes alot of bugs.

Thankfully it was only our development environment so i simply uninstalled 7.5 and put 7.1 back on and pointed it to the original ioadministration and ioapplication databases. Not the cleanest way but it worked :P.
Since my post about the upgrade issue i've been informed that the database server hosting our cms install was having some issues of the past couple of days. I'd take my comments above with a grain of salt until someone else is able to confirm the problem.
