I am happy to attach a new article on Lassa fever serology and risk
factors in forest Guinea, West Africa. The survey was made in 2000
and many questions were inferred to the wild fauna, especially the
rodents.

I have not read this yet but I am looking forward to doing so. These are so
few estimates of losses caused by rodents we desperately need a good paper
on this. I am sure it will become one of the most widely quoted in the
rodent literature!

completely aware of the risks for human health of those pest rodents
(see also the second article that I posted). But that is why

There is absolutely no doubt that we need to find more humane ways to
control pest rodents. I believe we all should be striving for that. A
group of scientists is meeting in the UK on a regular basis to work towards
