Try to change how the application launches.. Go to Manage | Connection
Settings. Change the display to full screen instead of what it is now.
That is where your clients are getting the display size from. I would
start there..

We have a couple of users here running at a higher display,1280x1024.
When they work within an application and then minimize it they are
getting a double set of scrollbars on the right side and the bottom. At
least that is what it looks like to them in Excel. What it looks like
to me is the application is launching and trying to use more display

Hy guys,

I've installed a new server in my farm, fresh win 2k3 r2 sp2
installation, fresh Propalms 5 installation, patch for sp2 installed,
all works fine but.... one of the user cannot see his connesction in
launcpad/connections page, and I cannot see that connection in
canaveral/console/monitor/conn ections. All others users are displayed

ok, thanks to all of you.

We did another way, installing another old server ( :-\ ) same type
and same dual cpu.
But I'll try anyway the vm, then I'll tell you the results.

In my personal opinion, i would ensure that you do not have any
network connection drops within your environment. That can cause
problems everywhere and not just with propalms. It kind of seems like
the role might actually be going down. Which means your web server is
losing connectivity to your database. Unless, of course, it is on the

support. If not, hopefully propalms is doing a good job for you guys.
They are very good over there and i dont suspect them not being able
to help you out. Yeah, it seems that there are some quirks in propalms

buying support. They have most of the issues resolved, but it took them 20
hours! There is just one little issue left with TSE licenses and I think I

Kris - Sorry it toook me so long to reply. Was on vacation for a week.
I assume you tried rebooting the x64 server. I would probably just try
and remove the LB role off the 2008 server. Keep it on your main
server and let that handle that role for your test server. Usually
this error is directly related to problems with the LB role. So

Massimo,
The best thing to do is change the Load Balancer options. If you open
the console and go to Options | Load Balancer, you will see that
Propalms is most likely basing its model upon unlimited Memory and
CPU. In your case, i would uncheck the CPU option and just leave it as
memory. That way, it doesnt matter how much CPU one server has over

Hello,
I'm running TSE 6.0 on a single server. I'm having the following issue:
When the network connection goes down for few seconds the client doesn't
reconnect.
The first screenshot shows when the connection is down. The second shows
when the connection comes back. And the third shows when it times out

P.S. You mention the new server is dual CPU - but aren't the Xeon 3200
series Quad core processor's ? In which case, I'd just see what the
Load Balancer makes of it before hacking about with your old machines !
