Gregory Michael Amov, programmer & musician, 1959-2009, RIP.
|
| |
Good morning, it is with regret, but also relief, that I pass on that Systems Theory band-member, long-time Multi-Value/dbms programmer and computer teacher Greg Amov died last night after a hard few months battling cancer for the second time. Some of you may recall that he had esophageal cancer three years ago. Eventually it came back,... more »

2.9.8 problems
|
| |
Just installed 2.9.8 and noticed the following problems (do not know
if problems exist on previous releases)
(1) OCONV("3031234567","ML(###)### -####") results in ... 30)312-3456

Since postings seem to be a bit slow lately, I thought that I would

Thanks

Server load
|

Hello,
On a server, with less than 10 users, my server load stays at 1.00 all
the time. It seems that the qmlnxd is very heavy on the cpu. How can I

There is a AMD Athlon dual core 1900, with 1Go.

CORRELATIVE.REUSE
|

Martin,
Could you explain this new command a bit more? I want to make sure
that if I were to put that in that it would not cause the dictionary
items that I have now to stop working properly.
Thanks

QMTerm on new Windows XP Home install
|
| |
Hi Martin, I'm able to bring up QM Console which may suffice for now. I did check the 'Event Viewer'. The error code would indicate a problem with my username so it seems unaware of my Windows account name. The link you sent me talks about checking 'Local Security Policy'. As far as I can tell, XP Home does not provide that. I... more »

Network link broken but user still connected
|
| |
Hello,
On our ASP server, we're offering access using ssh to our customers.
Each linux login has one or more fixed users on QM and they get
connected directly to qm -AACCOUNT -12 for example using a bash login
procedure.
We have both keepalive on the ssh server directly and on the client... more »

linux:open source:tcl copy(p)
|
| |
Hi all,
I work with D3 VME on a daily basis and I have started experimenting
with the open source version of OpenQM.
On D3 I can run the following command from TCL:
COPY DOS:C: /transfer/somefile.txt
to copy a file from the Windows 'C' drive.
I have tried so many combinations with OpenQM, including:... more »

Remote pointer between Qm and D3

Hello,
Is there a way to use remote pointer between Qm and D3 easily ? is
there tools to make that work ?
Or should I just rely on intermediate files to exchange data between
two running systems ?
