Men who have sex with men are the most affected by HIV/AIDS in
Massachusetts, according to a report released by the state Department
of Public Health ahead of World AIDS Day, the AP/Worcester Telegram
reports.
In 1948, the World Health Assembly defined health as “a state of
complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the
absence of disease or infirmity.”
Physical fitness is good bodily health, and is the result of regular
exercise, proper diet and nutrition, and proper rest for physical
recovery.
Mental health refers to an individual's emotional and psychological
well-being. Merriam-Webster defines mental health as "A state of
emotional and psychological well-being in which an individual is able
to use his or her cognitive and emotional capabilities, function in
society, and meet the ordinary demands of everyday life."
