Could someone post a step-by-step walkthrough to set up a Bluetooth
GPS receiver on a WM5 / Pocket PC device and get Google Maps to
actually see and USE it?  Do I have to dick around with COM port
settings? If so, what and which and how?

Again, these are  both current model SiRF Star II GPS receivers. Three
different PalmOS GPS programs pair with and use them just fine on my
Treo 650 and Treo 700p. But the 700wx (Pocket PC) sees the receiver,
pairs with it, but Google Maps refuses to recognize it or do anything
with it and just yells at me that it can't find my receiver even
though it's paired with it :(

Step-by-step instructions would be useful.. in this case,
necessary :-/
