Subject: Supported GPS Devices
Currently using Google Maps Version 1.0.0
Platform: winm-SmartPhone-T-Mobile Dash/web

Basically, I'm using a Windows Smartphone, the T-Mobile Dash, which is
a rebranded HTC Excalibur.

The more I look in to this, the more I realize this is probably a
question for the Windows SmartPhone communities, but I'll give it a
shot here. Is there any chance I can pair a bluetooth gps device with
the T-Mobile Dash with the Google Maps software installed? If so, what
bluetooth gps receivers are supported? Or do such receivers work on an
open standard that allows them to all be compatable?

After reading the FAQ on how to configure the GPS, it goes into
significant detail on pairing the device with Windows Mobile 5.0, but
not SmartPhones. Can a Windows SmartPhone with Google Maps installed
pair up with a bluetooth gps receiver?

In case you did not find the answer yet, check out this link for
setup:

You can get a remote registry editor from:
http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/mobileregistryeditor.shtml

It works with Cingular 3125 which is yet another  rebranded  HTC
smartphone.
Neither Microsoft nor Google made it easy and they supposedly hire
only very smart people - dorks.
