Outlook Express 6 - mail not indexed even though single identity

Sorry Brian, wild cards dont work. In fact it takes ? and * as part
of the search string. By the way, does it work in your system ?
Tried the strings in "". Even they dont throw up the results.

Highlighting words

When I type the phrase I'm looking for, Desktop search comes up with
the document - but lots of my Word Documents are very long. Is there
any way Google Desktop Search can be made to highlight the phrase, so
that I don't have to wade my way through all the pages?

Hopefully I'll have some results by tomorrow. I just opted to reindex
a few minutes ago and it says 83% complete with .1 idle hours left.
Seems inaccurate...

Hi,

If you set Google Desktop search on you computer as default search
engine. And you press the 'Windows logo' key and the "F" key. Then it
also open the quicksearch box.

Hello,
I just got a new computer with XP. I moved my outlook 2002 email over
to this new computer and supposedly indexing is complete but it seems
to me that it is only indexing emails that I send not that I receive.
So this makes it really difficult to find emails. I never need to find
what I send to people as often as I need to find what I receive.

Try wildcards in the string (e.g. *, ?), so try entering a search for
anything with 67892318014392 in it by entering *67892318014392* which
SHOULD return anything either before of after the desired data. If
wildcards do NOT work, then there is something else wrong that needs
to be looked at by Google...
