I only want GDS to index 1 folder that is in My Documents and my

I have four Windows accounts on my system and would like to disable
desktop search in all but the main account (mine - the kids don't need
it)

How do I do this? I am on a Win98Pro system and just downloaded the
most up to date version of all my software.

incomplete indexing with multiple browser windows open

I'm using IE8, Vista with lots of RAM and am notorious for having
multiple browser windows and within those, using having multiple tabs,
all at once. I love to ctrl/click and have pages loading in the
background while I'm reading a different page, etc.

I've tried that for two times, but it doesn't work.

I tried another software named "Baidu Hard-disk Search" which is with
the same func. of GD. How lucky I am!!! It appeared the same problem
as GD does.

I have a hotmail acct and aol email acct. I do not have aol
installed, rather it is aol webmail. Google Desktop searches show me
results from Hotmail, but not the AOL webmail. Is there any way to
get those results?

Had the sidebar up and running all the time. Yesterday tried to add
gadget (photos my own) decided did not like it. Tried to remove
gadget cannot do it still pops up in fll screen. Now I have no
sidebar and noway to install cannot find how to, also was looking into
Windows Sidebar for assistance and trying to remove Windows and keep

I would like to be able to hit Ctrl twice and search my desktop by
default. I used to be able to set the options in desktop search but it
seems to have moved.

I have the same issue. My new laptop stuck in 12% for 4-5 days already
with GDS. I have to install Windows Desktop search since I have 40+GB
of documents needs to find info on.
