Subject: FireFox 2.0.0.8 problem only with Google Desktop
Hi there.

I get this eroor when trying to do a desktop search:

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The problem is that I get this only with FF and not IE. Because of
this, it means that the problem is with FF? Right?

I will really appreciate any help regarding this. This is very
frustrating.

Deon

Upgraded yesterday and ran into this issue myself.

Found:

Basically its a bug when "index web history" is not selected.

So the catch 22 here is that if I let google desktop index my
websites, it works but if I don't want it on... Which yea, no way in
hell. I love to see google rushing to resolve the problem. So when I
want to search my desktop, I have to open my non-preferred browser
winblows explorer. Useful!

The problem with web indexing is that it freezes up my machine because
I go to websites that require passwords but are not secure sites.
