I agree totally with both of you. Going to sound like a grumpy old woman now! In my day, you had a pen knife but it was used for cutting flowers, vegetables (even paper) we wouldn't have dreamt of using it as a weapon. But I do remember that there was a spate of flick knives years ago too but that seemed to be the "underworld" - unless I was just very naive.
