WEST CUMBERLAND TIMES MARCH 29, 1958

TO THE ELECTORS OF GOSFORTH.

To My Electors, -

I have now represented the Gosforth Division for  twelve years on the
Cumberland County Council and am glad to know that for the  next three years I am
to continue to do so.

I have spent nearly all my life in the Gosforth area  and you may rest
assured that it will be my earnest endeavour to safeguard and  look after all
that concerns the interests of my electors.

I should like to take this opportunity of thanking all  those who have
supported me so loyally in the past and feel that as that I am  not opposed in
this election I have retained their confidence. I have been able  when
required, to investigate matters where my intervention has been of use to  the
area, and shall always be willing when invited, to continue to be useful in  
this way with all that concerns the welfare of the  Division.
