My name is Jon Shanks and I am currently embarking on the dissertation
portion of my Information & Library Management MA. For this, I am
hoping to question a number of librarians responsible for managing
graphic novel collections. In particular, my tutor has impressed upon
me the need for quantitative data (e.g. usage statistics) which I
would be extremely grateful if anyone would be able to provide me
with, but I am interested in gathering some qualitative data (how
materials are collected/displayed/promoted, challenges of adult
materials etc.) as well.

If anyone is willing, I have a questionnaire that I could send via e-
mail. Also, if any of you have any graphic novels user groups in your
libraries, I have an online survey which I would be grateful for any
input on.
