The Embassy of Japan runs an annual comic-writing competition called Manga
Jiman which has the dual purpose of promoting reading/writing and Japanese
culture for young adults. We would be very grateful if you were able to help
us to promote it in any way.

The Embassy of Japan is delighted to announce that we are running our Manga
Jiman Competition again this year.  The manga must be between six and eight
pages and refer to the 'sun' in some way. Entrants must be UK residents and
aged fourteen by 1st January 2010. The closing date is the 25 September. For
more information on the competition and the fantastic prizes you can win,
please visit  <http://www.uk.emb-japan.go.jp/en/event/manga_jiman_09.html>

Please contact  <mailto:ma...@jpembassy.org.uk> ma...@jpembassy.org.uk with
any queries about the competition. Good luck!

Best wishes,
