Although ACU&S has closed its offices in Camberley and the website, many its
400+ instructors and examiners are continuing to run their training courses
and exams. www.ecb.co.uk/ecb/ecb-association-of-cricket-officials has some
details of the new structure and I undertsand they have now trained some 10

Wimbledon Cricket Club will be hosting another Umpires' Roadshow, under the
auspices of Croydon & District ACU&S, at Church Road, LONDON SW19 5AG on
Wednesday 12 March at 7.30pm. The Roadshow will cover basic umpiring
technique and some of the more commonly occurring laws. Participants will
receive a certificate for attending. There will also be an opportunity to
talk to our instructors about umpiring in senior cricket. All umpires,
coaches, players and parents are welcome to attend but pre-booking is

5.30pm and the club's Courtside Restaurant (main courses from £6 to £10)
